The UK Armada Big Weekend: Action over Alderaan
Break out your Star Destroyers and join us for a weekend of Star Wars: Armada action at Element Games on 2-3 April 2022! Organised by the Armada UK & Ireland Facebook group, there will be two days of space battles featuring a grand tournament, side events, plus much more!

Tickets are limited at 44 players with 32 allocated to the Grand Tournament on a first-come basis
With the lack of an official AMG/Asmodee Nationals event, we intend to run our Grand Tournament as an unofficial Nationals.
Details for the Grand Tournament (which this ticket gives you entry in to as well as the full event) are as follows:
DAY 1 TIMINGS:
Registration 9:00 – 9:30
Pre-event brief 9:30
First Round start 9:45
Lunch 12:00 – 12:45
Second Round start 13:00
Final Round start 15:30
Final Swiss Standing Awards & Prize Giving 18:00
DAY 2 TIMINGS:
Top 4 play off start: 10:00
Lunch: 12:30
Tournament Final start: 13:30
EVENT FORMAT:
This will be a Swiss style tournament played over 3 rounds on day 1 with each round played over 135mins (2hrs 15mins).
Day 2 will see the top 4 players from the previous days Swiss battle for first place across 2 rounds. The final will be played over 150mins (2hrs 30mins).
The Event will follow the AMG/FFG standard tournament rules and use the current Armada Ruleset
The event will be open to all factions including the new Clone Wars era factions. Each players fleet cannot exceed 400 points but may be less than 400 points. Each players fleet may not include more than 134 points of squadrons and no more than 4 unique squadrons with defence tokens.
REGISTRATION:
Registration and round pairings for the event will be managed using TableTopTO. Players should

FOOD & DRINK:
Snacks and drinks are available from the on-site bar. External food is permitted during the lunch break. We recommend that you bring your own lunch but there are local shops and food venues within a short walking distance of the venue. We ask that you do not bring any external drinks in to the venue and rather that you support the venue by purchasing all drinks at the bar.
TRAVEL & PARKING:
Free parking is available in the venue car park and in the local authority car park next door to the venue. There are good public transport links within the area. Davenport Train Station is the nearest train link within a 5 minute walk of the venue. Stockport train station and Stockport bus station are 15 minute walks from the venue with good bus and taxi routes available. If catching a bus from Stockport bus station we recommend catching the Stagecoach 192 bus up to Nangreave Road/ Aquinas College/ Bamford Arms. If travelling from further afield and wishing to stay overnight there are lots of hotels within 5 minutes of the venue including a Premier Inn across the road behind the Bamford Arms.
